Bryan Scott

Bryan Scott has developed programming for MTV, Comedy Central, Foxlab and Tribune Broadcasting. He wrote the FOX series, The Mo Show  (starring Mo Gaffney); created the game show, Trashed for MTV; co-wrote/produced Comedy Central!s first Gay and Lesbian comedy special, Out There and wrote the pilot episodes for the revivals of the game shows, Match Game and Card Sharks.
Bryan wrote the film, Shekhar, an animated feature for Meg Ryan!s Prufrock Pictures and partnered with Mo Gaffney in Big Fat Liar Productions, which co-produced the Cable Ace Award winning special, Kathy & Mo: The Dark Side, for HBO.

Bryan began his career as a founding member of the improvisational comedy troupe, Modern Times. He spent several years as the staff producer for The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego where he oversaw all outside productions including the development of Lily Tomlin!s Broadway show, Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe. Bryan then co-wrote and produced the hit Off Broadway
musical, SUDS: The Rocking “60s Musical Soap Opera before moving to London where he worked extensively for BBC1, BBC2, and Channel 4.

While in Great Britain, Bryan wrote and/or produced the television series Tonight with Jonathan Ross, A Word in Your Era, The Real McCoy, The Full Wax (starring Ruby Wax), Win a Wedding, Friday Night with Wogan, and the made- for-TV movie AIDS drama, Accentuate the Positive.  Bryan also created and produced the docu-drama series, For One Night Only and co-created and wrote the BBC/CBS sitcom pilot Apple Pie. In addition, he served as Development Director for the independent production companies Channel X and The English Channel. On the UK stage, Bryan wrote and (with Meera Syal) in The Oppressed Minorities Big Fun Show, which won the “Pick of the Fringe! at the 1992 Edinburgh Fringe Festival before moving to the Shaw Theater in London!s West End.

In 1997, Bryan co-founded Picture This Television. He is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Producers Guild of America and the Dramatist Guild.
